[VAC] Repairing a black tank

Hello everyone,
Thanks for the input on my black tank. I did try to weld it with an epoxy
type stuff that sounds like it should work. My tank also is listed as
"seamless molded plastic" and I know at some point my father repaired the
black tank in his 1968 Avion, which I would imagine had a similar material
for it's waste tank. My cracking is up near the flange for the toilet, so
I'm hoping it will be okay since I got the reinforcing bracket back in
place also. The only bummer is going to be if the stink comes back because
that will mean there is another crack that I can't see and I'll have to get
the tank out to fix it. Has anyone had to take their black tank out in a
1965 Caravel? It appears to be on top of the floor sandwiched between the
floor and the fiberglass pan that is under the toilet. My toilet is raised
up a bit. I'm wondering how much I would have to take out to slide it out
of it's slot. Anyone?
