Daisy, have you installed your cork floors yet?  I'm wondering how much
floor leveling and preparation is required. I have replaced some water
damaged flooring and even the original floor has some depressions where the
bolts attaching it to the frame are pulled down a little below the floor
level. I'm planning to sand the floor to remove the old adhesive for the
original vinyl tiles and level things up a little better in the process.
Then I'm putting on the penetrating epoxy and after that's cured, then the
floor itself goes down. How much more than that is necessary to get a
smooth, level floor with no telegraphing of cracks and bumps in the sub
floor?
