[VAC] Re: [A/S] A/C, swamp cooler and/or fan recommendations to replace crank-up vent?



Now *this* sounds interesting... especially if you could nicely frame 
up the "swamp" portion of the cooler in such a way that it could be 
snapped or attached via bracketing on the window from the inside... 
letting the fantastic fan be the fan component of this arrangement 
means less overlap in functions. The water supply still needs to be 
worked out but in general this could be a good soltion. Thought of 
using an airfilter from a furnace as the "gauze" material that would 
be the wet path that the air is drawn through? Two of them back to 
back, the outside one being a real filter and the inside one being 
constantly wet to cool the air... anyway just thinking out loud.
