Tim - 

Well, the advantages are growing.  There are currently
limitations to the amount of space the Vintage
Airstream Club has for electronic media... as I
understand it, the officers of the VAC have approved
funding for additional resources.  This coupled with
the volunteered effort of RJ Dial, Fred Coldwell, and
a host of others will help the website grow by leaps
and bounds.  That's only part of the story, then you
get this list, which is free -- true, but so is public
radio until nobody pledges a membership.  Then there
is the newsletter... There are videos, there are
instructional papers available, and more.  these are
just a few of the benefits.  Now I don't know how
scarce 10 bucks a year is for anyone but myself, but I
can't think of too many better places to invest it.
