Towing a Jeep (or any 4wheel drive vehicle) carries
some special considerations. Especially if we're talking about an early Jeep
(CJ2, 3, 5) or the early military jeeps, unless the jeep's on its own trailer,
it's usually desirable to disconnect the short driveshaft to the
transfer case...even on a 'car dolly', where the front wheels are up on a dolly,
if the 4wheel drive were to become engaged, the jeep could try to climb up the
back of your tow vehicle while barrelling down the highway... I'm afraid we're
gonna need more specifics to be of any help... now, if you have any Vintage
