         There is a fairly new leak finding system for sale to RV places 
that seems like a *very* clever set up (I'm not buying one because they 
want $2500 for it)- but it basically is a *bib* squirrel cage blower with a 
large flexible hose that draws air in from a roof vent, and pressurizes the 
entire rig. You then spray soapy water over the outside, and the leak will 
bubble up (like a gas or air leak).

         This system sounds ideal for an Airstream, and like something that 
a DIYer might be able to cobble together.
