Dings are usually hardly worth removing unless by chance the inside skin
is opened for another reason, they are in the lower wrap on the belly
skin, or are on smaller flat panels (door, aft of tanks, etc.)

Bib dents or gouges are another matter, and are worth carefully opening
the interior skin or replacing panels.
