My '61 Bambi didn't have split rims, I doubt very much that they are on the '62.
Mine are 13", and are very much like Ford Pinto or Mustang in bolt pattern. I
to, had problems finding a 13" wide white wall tire with the proper load rating.
I tried "portal walls" , but they bunched up around the rim and wouldn't lay
flat against the tire. I finally went with Goodyear Marathons.
