[VAC] Re: Bath tub Gelcoat repair

Tim,
I promised you the results of my experiment with Pettit Easypoxy in three or four days. Forgive me for being slow to respond but I need three days with no rain and low humidity. In the Washington DC area we have not had many of those recently. Today I put on the first coat and I am very pleased with how it looks so far.  the paint is easy to work with, I used a sponge brush. I was a little concerned at first the paint seemed to resist sticking to the surface. After brushing over a few times it stuck right down. The piece is just beyond "tacky dry" and it looks good, good gloss, good leveling out. I am expecting to give it three or four coats with twenty four hours between coats. I think it will look like a new piece when it is finished.
