[VAC] Re: flush valve leak

David,

You didn't say what year your Airstream is, but the usual cause is the
neoprene seal between the toilet and Closet Flange on top of the Black
Water tank.

Take off the 2 or 4 nuts attaching the toilet to the flange & lift off
the toilet. Clean the flange and replace the gasket seal. In some
toilets the available seal won't fit. In those cases a simple wax ring
will suffice.

When the Caravel did the same thing, we got replacement parts online
from http://www.metrorv.com - click on toilet replacement parts. They
also have pictures of what the closet flanges, seal and wax rings look
like there.

Best of luck,
RJ
