hey Terry, 
I like that one and will whittle one for our rig sometime. I use bungy cords
which I learned from the previous owner of our trailer are excellent to keep
the roof vents from working open.  All you do is hook one end to one knob
and hook the other end to the other knob which prevents them from rotating.
I bet there are a lot of neat stories and tips held by airstream
travelers...I would enjoy hearing a few. G.S.
