[VAC] Re: Nuvite Polish/AC

Jerry -
Just a thought, before you abandon the A/C idea: There's no reason why the
inlet vent has to go through the side - I'm putting my former rooftop a/c
(from another vehicle) under one of the forward 'cafe' seats... and an
LPG-fired 4000watt genset under the other... both will be vented through the
floor, through some flexible clothes-dryer style vent hoses...with
screened-over access panels in the belly-pan. Just make sure there's a large
enough volume of outside air being drawn in... in the worst case, it would
be possible to mount a small 12v 'muffin fan' in the intake stream...

Likewise, the exhaust/muffler for the genset will be mounted inside a
ventilated box inside the belly-pan (to prevent the muffler from melting the
insulation). I'm lining both A/C and genset boxes with this
mylar/foam/lead-impregnated rubber sandwich stuff they use to sound/heat
proof marine engine-compartments. It might seem a bit elaborate, but I think
Wally would approve...
