[VAC] Electrical Independence

For some time I have been researching and dreaming of achieving electrical
independence via solar. I got stuck on the problem that the flexible
panels I want plus the controller plus state-of-the-art batteries was just
to big of a lump sum for my budget.

So I started thinking about ways of phasing the system together so I could
pay for it over time. Here's my plan.

When I put the seven pin electrical plug on my new 1966 Ford Camper Special
I will add about eight feet of length. I learned that the puller idles
very cool when I flushed the radiator. A half hour of idling was no
problem and an hour or more would be no problem.

Next I buy the state-of-the-art batteries and install them in the
Airstream. They will go under the galley where the old Everflo heater
resided. After I removed the heater there was a 2x3 foot space for
batts. Equal amount of space under couch directly opposite. Importantly
these batteries will be sitting almost directly over the single axle of my
1966 Safari.

Anytime I want to charge the batts. I just park the pullers rear end sort
of close to the tongue of the trailer. Pull out the long cable (mentioned
above) and let the Ford's generator charge the batts.

Why won't this work?
