I thought the truck show was by invitation only,
and the invitation was sent to my wife! Sort of like inviting me to a
needlework workshop, :-).
Anyway, when I got there (using her invitation) I
found that anyone could come in. They just used the invitation ploy to
keep the crowds down. Having an invitation did get you a free lunch,
though.
I realize that 5500# isn't much of a load for
a 350/3500 truck to pull, but it was better than nothing, and was the same for
all three trucks. A fairly good chance to compare acceleration and shift
points while pulling.
This was my first chance to see the Duramax diesel,
and I was favorably impressed.
