[VAC] Re: Sanding and Painting the AS frame....





Jeff,

To a degree, I second both of Scott's points here.  The parts that are
already exposed are going to have the greatest degree of deterioration.
However, my 57 Overlander has some serious frame rust in the back and
front--both of which experienced exposure to water from within and
without.

I doubt my 57 was as well sealed in as Scott's, you can take a look at my
website for comparison to your own trailer.

My educated guess would be that if your floor has mucho rot from water,
your frame will have a comparable degree of rust.

On another note, I don't have anything new to report on the renovation of
my own trailer.  However making progress toward debt-free living is
helping that renovation timeline.
