I have a Statpower 600 watt and a Radio Shack 300 watt
inverters.  The Statpower is marginal for computers and audio/video
(some things work for a little while).  The Radio Shack powers the
computer or A/V with no problem.

My inquiries revealed that it was the shape of the sine wave created by
the RS unit that makes it better for electronics.  I am not an
engineer but I am a believer.
