I'd measure the gauge of the metal, and get a sheet
cut to the same size and replace it.  On my trailer
(1960) the wheel wells are thin boxy things --
replacing the metal (aside from the fact that they're
integrated into the cabinets) seems to be an easy
job...

I guess it's relative since the cabinets are coming
out of mine.  it's easier to see when there's nothing
blocking the view!
