Jill,

Modern tanks are made of a plastic. If you still have the air pump system
you will most likely need to also switch to a water pump, which involves
rerouting the water fill to bypass the tank when hooked up to "city" water.
I believe that the plastic tanks are not designed to be pressurized like the
old metal ones.
