[VAC] Toilet flange

Is it possible to repair leaks in blackwater tank without removing
tank,assuming leaks are on bottom or sides. Toilet flange is not wanting to
come out,PB Blaster et al used to loosen with no results. Any stronger
trying will lead to broken flange,already has broken piece in top. Which way
does flange rotate to remove,I remember someone saying clockwise then follow
up post said counter. Doesn't make much difference at the moment.Thanks.
