I used some clear reinforced flexible plastic tubing and hose clamps to 
repair some sections of the plumbing that had split.  This spots were narrow 
and hard to reach so this worked well for me.  I plan to replumb the whole 
thing at some point, ( have it done by someone else when my ship comes in ? 
:o)  - )  using Pex, I think, but in the meantime, this patch is OK.
