[VAC] Re: Modifying rear bath to rear bedroom
nope. i got the last one.
(just kidding.)
late 40's, earlyearly 50's had oval windows front and back, and were
typically 'pipe-frame' design.
as such, the smaller 'clippers' and 'trailwinds' didn't ordinarily come with
toilets (with their blackwater tanks).
they're also a tad narrower than the modern airstreams, with an 80" inside
width. if you happen to find one of these models, i believe the thing to do
is to construct a new truck (wheel/axle/suspension) and frame, floor, and
transfer the shell onto it. A lot of work, but in the end, you can do the
layout any way you want.
I was just outside spraying orange stripper all over the inner skin,
thinking i'll strip it and polish it before i put it back on the frame.
