[VAC] Re: Does size really matter?

Jill - Having spent lots of time in a 17 and a 26 footer ,I`ll add this .
You really need a long wheelbase to pull either safely. The 26 can be too
big for some places , twisty bumpy off the pavement type places . But if you
are living in it ,you will want the space ,after awhile. The little ones can
get pretty cramped ,like in rainy weather. So a globetrotter or safari is a
good compromise . The big ones are tandem ,which is a plus ,( until you need
tires ! ) . I think 20 ` is as big as I would want to have for a single
axle. But if you plan on rolling jewelry workshop with computer space ,you
will want a big one ,tandem axle ,and a big ole van or something to pull it.
I dont think Wally planned on folks using them for a home , more for
extended travel , But if your carefull not to have too much stuff ,they`re
pretty good .
