I didn't find this to be true when pricing at Camping World. I bought the Zip Dee at my a/s dealer and don't regret it. The Zip Dee is thick canvass, having been through a 4" snow when up without damage. The A&E's a lighter weight material. Zip Dees are designed by and for Airstreamers.
