[VAC] Galley forward model

Has anyone had any experience with a galley-forward model? 
I've never been in one, have only seen the layout on paper, 
but think it looks ideal for someone who winds up cooking a 
lot, and/or cooking for large groups in their Airstream, 
as I do.  I realize my priorities are different from most,
but I get really frustrated with an endless procession of 
folks squeezing past behind me on the way to their bed,
their stuff, the bathroom, the closet, etc. etc. while I'm 
trying to work at the galley.
Any comments on those models with the galley at the front
would be appreciated!
