[VAC] Re: Radiant flooring - hydronic pump lead

The October/November 200 issue of HOME POWER magazine has an article on a
hydronic in-floor heating system for a house that uses 12 volt, 10 watt pumps
that might be adoptable to an Airstream. The 10 watt pump could circulate
hot water through 600 feet of 1/2 inch PEX, with the pump and a thermostat
being the only moving parts in the system. This pump operates directly from
12 volts DC, a plus for a trailer installation.

The pump is an EI-SID 10B pump [??- Static Impeller Drive] from Ivan
Labs, 305 Circle West, Jupiter, Florida 33458. No web site was given for
Ivan Labs, but the E-mail address is: ivandelsol@juno.com.

My head hurts when it is forced to crunch numbers, so consider this a
lead to a possible component for radiant heating, a FWIW. Someone else will
have to assess it numerically to determine if it is a feasible component.
