A gravity pumping system uses heat energy to move the water. I prefer to
use a bit of motor and pump, I think its more energy efficient, and it
doesn't require as great a temperature gradient.

As far as I can tell a water heater should be a super boiler for a
radiant heating system. Might be nice to put the cold return line to the
drain valve end of the tank unless there is a good dip tube in the cold
water inlet.
