[VAC] Re: Stainless weight

Daisy, stainless cabinets/countertops might actually weigh less than
wood-frame/formica-on-wood systems.

P.S.: (to anyone)
I'm still struggling with the decision whether or not to re-install the
bathtub in my '49 Clipper... on the one hand, this may be the first of the
rear-bath Airstreams - it does appear to be a factory installation - and
therefore might have some 'historical' significance. Does anyone know when
Airstream began installing porcelain/steel tubs in the Clipper?
Interestingly, there is a small bathroom sink as well, but no toilet or
holding tank. A later addition was an above-floor black-water tank, but it
was never plumbed, nor was a commode installed...
the water system seems to have been a pressurized, glass-lined tank; i don't
know what sort of water heater was used, since it apparently exploded,
leaving a large, blackened hole in the floor where it had been; no
grey-water tanks, just a drain-hose to the ground...
