[VAC] Uncharted waters..

Hello all
Today I spent another few hours stripping out the interior of my Safari. I
started out just wanting to fix a leaky water tank, but removed the front seats/bunks,
then the center curbside seat/bunk, then...all the original floor tiles I could
get at...up to the rear closet bulkheads. I took off the wheel well covers,
which some water would get into when driving in the rain.

I still have the streetside galley intact, and the entire rear end. I'm not
so sure about mine...rear end that is! <g>

Now this is the scary stuff. Will I be able to get it all out, new flooring,
plumbing...and everything back together by April. Hmm...I don't know. I guess
it's all the plumbing, the drain system, the big fiberglass bath pieces, and
all the plumbing under there that worries me.

I have to fix some frame separation too, so it would be a heck of a lot easier
to do empty! I've noticed a lot of damage because of the frame separation too.
More than just a gap in the rear. This sag, is why my rear compartment door
opening was enlarged, and caused the door to fall out!

Also, the upper curbside cabinets, are not straight. I mean, when you sight
down the length of the cabinet, you can see the sag aft of the closet, on which
the aft end sits!

Due to the flexing in the rear, I think the area, just aft of center, was forced
to raise up some. My bulkhead support at the closet is pushing up thru the
ceiling.

This is another reason to remedy this now.

I never wanted to go this far, but I think I must..or I'll never be happy!

This is all Wayne's fault.....yup...I think so..

See what happens when you go to a Rally!

The floor is solid though, and that's really good news! Five sheets of plywood.
The seams are even pretty flat still!

I will accept any words of wisdom...
