Keep in mind that a new frig. will cost between $1000 and 1200.00.  I 
replaced mine with a new one and it lasted just a few months after the 
warranty ran out and then it was another $800 bucks for a new cooling 
unit.  My old unit need a new cooling unit which would run about $700.00 
and with hindsight it would have been better to repair the old one. Sound 
like repairing is a better option for you if the cooling unit OK.
