Many years ago in the 1930s (I am realy showing my age) when we lived on a
hard scrable farm in Missouri We had a box on the back porch that we kep our
butter and things that needed to be kept a little cool in the 90+temp in the
summer we crovered the box with a old quilt and my jpb weas to keep the
blanket wet as I recal it worked after a fashion. I believe these were called
everapition coolers.
