Jeff, you can get new aluminum sheet in the proper specs,  2024-T3, in
.032 or .040, from Air Parts Inc, in Kansas City.  They also sell
clecos, and other tools and speciality parts to repair aircraft.  Go to
the Airstream Dreams web site, and look at the polish.  You will find a
picture of my Bambi, with the door open.  With some help from Tom
Howarth, we took it apart and polished it.  The inside and outside
aluminum are the same, .....2024-T3.  Easy to replace, and easy to
polish.  Just use olympic rivets.
