Re: [VAC] cycling water pump-
Hey folks-
When evaluating my water system in my new '69 Trade Wind this weekend I
found that the pump kept turning on every five minutes. I am guessing that
this means there is a loss of pressure somewhere. I checked all the faucets
for dripping but had none. I also tightened all the hoses around the pump,
the tank and the crossover valve. The fill cap was tight. Beyond that I
haven't looked any further. I was wondering what other places people have
found to be the source of a pressure loss. I have the original copper
tubing and my trailer is a double with the tank up front. I did notice that
the wires going into the top of the tank had some sort of sealant around
them that appeared to be cracking...also my kitchen faucet cold water has
little flow compared to the hot (the w. heater was not on) and the bathroom
sink and tub faucets have good pressure. Are these problems related,
different-help! Thank you.
Bill- sent in my check to the VAC and am looking forward to the Olema rally!
