[VAC] floors on a 68 caravel

Hi,
 I would realy apricate if anyone has any tips on
redoing the floor? Not just a piece,but the whole
thing.We were also planning on the use of self stick 
wood floors(they are about1/4in thick)on top of the
ply wood.By doing this we would have to refit every
thing.Is there a better way?
