I haven't tried this so, tryer beware.  there's a
little waxy wheel you can get at auto body supply
stores that you hook to a drill -- it's supposed to
"melt" decals off of cars.. I know melting doesn't
sound good, but they use it on paint so I can't
imagine it would hurt aluminum... maybe I'll give it
the first shot and report back...
