[VAC] spare tire spot

Hey folks- 
First, thank you all for the tips- this site has proven invaluable to me in my restoration and maintenance of my 69 Trade Wind.  Second, I am curious where most people store their spare tire.  I would like to carry it outside the trailer somewhere but can't put in the front because the trailer has a lot of tongue weight already.  A back bumper mount would be ideal (it would help reduce tongue wt. too) but then my "in bumper trunk" would be inaccessible.  Does anyone make a swinging mount or something that works...I do not want to carry the spare inside the trailer-I've spent too much time putting in linoleum tile to have it all scuffed/scratched by a tire.
