Dan,
Lots of filed VAC posts on polishing (

I used a Cyclo dual head orbital, others have used 6-7" orbitals at low
speed.  The drum type and Cyclo are supposedly less likely to leave
swirl marks.  I can attest the Cyclo was swirl free.
