As Ed (Bob) Emerick says , and I agree, the Rolite products seem to be
the best.  The Nu-vite products that were demonstrated at Bismarck, also
do a great job.   Your problem, is a basic problem that many
Airstreamers have,  that are new to "Polishing".   That problem is
trying to polish before the "Plasticote", or clear coat has been
removed.  The plasticote can only be removed by using paint stripper.
If you tried to use laquer thinner to wipe it clean,............you are
spinning your wheels.   Go back to square one, and remove the Plasticote
first.     If you don't remove the plasticote,   you are in store for
MAJOR frustration.
