Toby,

Absolutely no offense taken.  If anyone can find a cheaper way
to finish Olympic rivets, by all means share it with the rest
of us.  The shaver tools are quite expensive.

The best solution I've heard is to do all the riveting
yourself and then take it to an Airstream repair faciilty and
pay them to finish all the rivets.  They've got the tool and
you'll really just pay for their time.

I couldn't find that surplus rivet shaver tool at the Airparts
site.  My only caution is the size.  The Airstream-recommended
size rivets are 5/32."  A 1/4" tool may do more harm than
good.  On the other hand, it's only $3.15 so it's worth
exploring.
