 Yes, great minds think alike, that thought had occurred to me also in my
first metalsmithing class we referred to that as a 'scotch bright' finish
(go figure) also remember that there are many different grades of scotch
bright from coarse to fine. We also used pumice for a similar finish. looked
great. one might even try other grades of abrasives I.E rottenstone. or a
finer pumice
