Yes, Oven spray is often  (but not always) Sodium Hydroxide also known as
lye, which is a good remover and may not attack certain materials that
solvent removers will, however it will attack materials that a solvent may
not, and I am not sure about contact with aluminum. Some spray recommend
covering items in the oven with aluminum foil,  so if it says that on the
can one would think it would be OK.
Watch your eyes and lungs.
