Re: [VAC] Popping out small dent in a/s

DSK:

I had the same problem with a dent I couldn't remove using a suction cup at
home. Try your local body shop, they have suction cups that can generate
much more adhesion, and that could do the trick. If it is really stubborn,
the body shop can use a dent puller. The whole procedure takes 5 minutes, if
that long. That's what I had to do, because the suction didn't work...the
bad news is that the dent puller requires drilling a small hole in the skin.
The good news is that is really IS a small hole, about the size of a drywall
nail, which is then covered with a gray epoxy or Vulkem, so it should be
barely visible. Most importantly, the dent in my case is now completely gone.

There are other methods that the VAC has encouraged, from replacing the
affected panel, to pushing the dent out from the inside...my suggestion is a
"quick and cheap" fix, but it works. Perhaps others on the list can advise
you on alternative methods. Good luck!
