Re: [VAC] VAC e-mail list archives

THANK YOU, TOM PATTERSON, AND YES I AM YELLING. I would have replied
sooner, but the archives were so interesting, I got lost in them for
some time. I particularly enjoyed the large font for ease of reading,
and easy to access index, by thread, author and subject. Tom you do
fine work, and I am going to mention this to the Board, at the next VAC
meeting in Bismarck. For all of you newbies, that are just now
starting the giant learning curve, and are at the bottom, please take
some time to go to Tom Patterson's new Archive. We have probably
already answered your questions, many times and many different ways.
One of the reasons I enjoyed this list from the beginning, about a year
and a half in the past, is because their are so many different ways to
fix a problem, restore a coach, or design a new way to enjoy your
Airstream. Tom Patterson started the Archive from the original
discussion list, then added the Vintage list, when it was added to the
home page.
A tip O the Hat again to Tom, for his fine efforts. This MHonArc
program to store this data is just what we needed. Attention all
newbies!!! Read the post below, and go to Tom's new website.

Sincerely,
Bill Scott

As most of you know, I have been maintaining a listing of the postings to the VAC e-mail list.  The volume of these postings has greatly increased recently, and I have been hard pressed to keep up with this increased volume.
I have therefore looked for a program which will simplify the process and have come up with MHonArc which I have installed on my site.  Today I uploaded about 750 of the more recent postings to this program, and they may be seen at http://tompatterson.com/MHonArc2.4.6/maillist.html .  As you will note, the listing of postings can be viewed by date, by thread, by author and by subject.  Click on the desired choice up at the top.
While the search program has not yet been updated to include all of these postings, it soon will be, and these postings can be searched for content, just as the older ones were.  Just go to the home page at http://www.tompatterson.com/ and click on "Search Site".  Hint - Clicking on the "Tom's Web Page" logo on the lower right corner of these pages will take you directly to the home page.
