I've only done a few dozen but didn't have the problem you
had. Perhaps try a different rivit gun? I use a Craftsman ( <
$20). Perhaps you just have a bad batch of rivits? Might try calling
rivitsplus.com and ask them. Sounds like a lot of extra work if you have
to re-drill & re-rivit all the bad ones. rivitsplus.com might tell you
to use "their" rivit gun which probably costs a lot more. Good
