glad that I started a discussion - but, back to the
point, the alternative of using cans for septic tanks
so one could park the airstream on private property
has a precedent.  Once one county/city says it's okay,
you've got an argument.  People have been using these
types of alternatives "legally" since the mid 1970's,
and without permission since long before that.  

find the precedent - talk to the Powers That Be,
present your argument, move in.  simple as that - for
as long as it takes to polish an airstream, you would
think that one would follow through with *all aspects
of the experience wouldn't you?
