Doesn't seem practical to clearcoast a polished unit in view that 
clearcoat will run about $100 a running foot of trailer and will probably 
only last 10 years.  Remember when you clear coast you still need to 
treat your coat with Walbernizer once or twice a year if you want to 
maintain it.   Put some good auto polish sealer on your polished 
airstream once a year will probably hold shine for a few years then 
repolish with whatever you used for your final polish wh;en  you think 
necessary.  If you do it yourself you save money.  If you hire it done it 
will probably cost about the same as getting a clearcoat.
