No idea on the upper leak, but the toilets I have worked with are set on a
standard flange.  Take it off and replace the wax seal.  Easy.

The stories of mint trailers needing repairs makes me sort of glad ours was
a known mess, so I really expected to do it all.  No problems since then,
however.  We washed it off, flushed the antifreeze, filled the water tank,
and took off on a trip this year.  Nice to get to that point.
