[Fwd: [VAC] Brakes]

I have a '62 19' Globetrotter, with hydraulic brakes. I pull it with a
'97 Ford F-150.  I did not want to hook up the hydraulic brakes to the
pickup.  I had the hitch removed and replaced it with a surge brake
hitch. I purchased a hydraulic solenoid valve , open at rest, plumbed it
into the hydraulic line, and hooked it to the backlight circuit.  The
surge brake works well, and I can back up with no problem.This might be
heresy to change the original hook up, but it works for me.
