Steve:

    An old McFaul Brothers advertisement claims the 1948 Airstream 22' Liner 
weights right at 1800 pounds completely furnished, with a hitch weight of 
125.  No model name is given, so this made have been a low cost base model.  
Another 1948 McFaul Brothers ad states the 22 footers weight approximately 
from 1900 to 2000 pounds "furnished" and shows a few different floor plans 
which include cabinets, closets, stove, sink, ice box, beds, divans or table 
& chairs.  These may be more representative for today's world.
