@ walmart there are cheap pads - like 4 bucks - 1/2
inch pile that have an elastic band that holds them
on, and then there are the more expensive 1" to 1.5"
pile wool pads for the final finishing portion that I
got from the local rental place (contractor's supply)
that are fastened with a string and you tie them on.

they come in various sizes (5-6", 7-8", 9-10" round)
