Thank you most sincerely Terry for sharing your
expertise on the heating of water and water in general. Your recommendation of a
sediment filter would appear to be a good one. A remote switch would presumably
be useful only if the pilot is lighted. My heater compartment was usually well
stocked with burnt wooden matches from trying to light the pilot in a breeze.
And it aint a breeze.
